The Dining Out booklet in today's EN has an ad for Rome's and the Culebra location is on it. Hopefully that means they're opening in the very near future, or better yet, now

Roadways and ease of getting to Alamo Ranch
As I drove on I-10 today and listened to the traffic, there apparently was another accident that was backing up traffic headed east on 1604. However, I didn't notice any more traffic than the usual parking lot eastbound on 1604 from I-10.
That said, I am thankful that the normal stoplight delays on 1604 near Bandera do not come close in comparision to the daily congestion along 1604 leading up to Stone Oak and Blanco rd. I don't see an end anytime soon to the congestion on the north side of 1604. Why is 1604 on the northside not a 3-lane roadway?
Here's to Alamo Ranch and soon-to-be access onto 151!

Yep, they sell TGIF potato skins in the frozen section as well. Not even close to the same! Frozen stuff is OK if you live in Big Wells, TX (pop. 704) and you dream of eating someplace that we take for granted. If there is a choice of the real thing, or the frozen variety, most of us would go for fresh.

Am I missing something? Access soon? Is this just based on the Archon website projection or is there another announcment?

Maybe I am too optomistic. I don't know the timetable but it is not going to happen within the next year so soon might have been the wrong choice of words.

my daughter said the starbucks opened yesterday. I was at the new Arby's yesterday and enjoyed it. It is very nice inside and the service was outstanding. There appeared to be quite a few management personnel there, so that probably helped the service out quite a bit.
My only gripe is the drive-through easily blocks quite a few parking spaces. I don't know how often it backs up, but I had to wait to get out of my parking spot.
