I know CPS used to do this, but didn't see anything on their website currently. Does anyone know if there are places that offer rebates or trade-in for a gas mower when purchasing an electric one?

Best place to inquire is Home Depot. In the past they put on promotions and had rebate information with the electric lawnmowers. I think they had an arrangement with CPS. I have no idea about Lowes.

It is in a different place on the website, this isn't an energy saver but rather an anti-smog rebate. In fact you will purchase more energy from CPS changing from gas to electric mower.

Thanks, I'll look into it.

I know there is a place off Blanco that sells a lot of used gas mowers, I wonder if they buy them too. Or there's always craigslist I suppose.
