Our family is traveling back to the San Antonio area for a conference and we are interested in places/restaurants which may still be active from the 50's and 60's in San Antonio. Lived by St. Mary's and Holy Rosary Church and went to school at James Madison Elementary, St. Lukes and St. Theresa the Little Flower. Love to know what places of interest are still around, especially restaurants, drugstores, tours...

Earl Abel's is still around, but it has relocated to Austin Highway where Terrell Plaza once stood.

I ate there last week. How could I forget? Add De Wese's Tip Top Café to the list as well.
