yeah this is great ... it will lessen the congestion in stone oak parkway as it will be a north/south bound alternate route... and with the blanco rd widening going on now, soon traffic will a thing of the past in stone oak...
i wonder if huebner can eventually connect to 281?

I'm eagerly awaiting the Hardy Oak connection since it would be my main exit out of Stone Oak. I live close to the Mormon temple. Hopefully they won't build too many new subdivisions in Steubing ranch to clog this new pathway. I don't think Huebner can go all the way to 281 unless they work their way around the quarry. I used to think of that quarry as an eyesore, but now I'm glad its taking up space to prevent further development. The same goes for Camp Bullis on the west end of Stone Oak.

Also - if you look at an aerial image of the Stuebing Ranch you will see that just West of the Quarry is a large dam. This dam and spillway area combined with the deep quarry will prevent Huebner from connecting to 281.

We were going to build in the "cheap" section (the Trails) of Herff Ranch, where they are (still) building the Mission/River collection...we were going to have the Medina model built.
Back when we were looking at building there they had the Liberty and the Texas collection as the next price points up, but they have since changed it to Empire and Liberty if I am not mistaken.
It's such a gorgeous subdivision with so many lovely trees and the homes look so welcoming....I am really sad that things didn't work out. And the playscape for the kids is just awesome!

The city can take as long as it wants on the Hardy Oak extension. The main reason I live off of Sonterra is to avoid the traffic of 281 and Stone Oak Pkwy. Connecting Hardy Oaks will make the Sonterra exit off of 281 very congested with those looking for an alternate route north.
But, hey, I know it is going to happen sooner or later. But later is fine with me.

They no longer build the Liberty collection in Boerne. It is the Mission/River, Trails and Empire out there.
Sorry it didn't work out. It is a very nice community out there.

So I got my first full CPS bill after moving into my new house. It was $247.16. This is the largest bill I have ever gotten as a San Antonio Home Owner. For comparison's sake - our house is primarily one story (just a bedroom/bath upstairs) with a total of 3,221 square feet. We keep our A/C set on 79 during the day and 78 at night. How do I compare?
Anyone else in the Quarry care to share their CPS bill?

No, but I can compare to my place. 3K square feet, built in 1992, a/c set to 75 (home) / 78 (away). Your bill came out the same as mine for the super hot month of June (still waiting on July which should be better).
