What the hell is going on in that area of town? The EN is reporting 3 shot dead inside a NW side home add this to the papa john's driver murdered last night and another shot dead found today in another NW side home, that's 5 all together. I can't remember that much violence in one area since the east side of the mid 1990s.

The news personal needs to learn better map reading skills. The three shot dead is clearly the inner west side.

It really depends on who you talk to. It it technically northwest of downtown. And according to the Google Map it is north of the "Inner westside" marker. But, then again, we might just all want to e-mail google and ask them to remove the label.

Here's the story on the double murder-suicide inside 410 at Culebra and 36th: Apparent double murder-suicide at West Side home - KABB - San Antonio Top Stories - News, Sports, Weather, Traffic

and the family dispute where it looks like a son shot his father near 1604 and Hausman: Family dispute leads to fatal shooting on NW Side

So, two separate instances, certainly not even close to being in "one area"; both apparently not random crimes but seems like both are family disputes resulting in murder & suicide. Unfortunate, tragic, yes, but not indicative of a criminal problem in the NW part of town (any more than there already is), or at least, what I define as NW which is the 151/1604/Bandera/Babcock/Helotes area.

The Papa John driver thing is just nuts. I'll give you that much. Terrible and I hope they catch that guy.

SMU with the Fox news level over sensationalized hysteria.

Had these incidents happened near Alamo Heights or Oak Farms, he wouldn't have even dare make a thread.

Don't forget the double slaying less than a week ago on Chase Hill by UTSA.
Arrest made in home invasion double slaying - San Antonio Express-News
I would say that seven people dead in a particular quadrant of town is indicative of something else going on.

Yeah, 2.3 million people live in an area and crime can happen as well as murder-suicides.

The "quadrant" you're talking about isn't a small area by any stretch. You need to give it up already.
