I'm researching a place to hold my cousins baby shower. I'm looking for something reasonable on NE side.......converse, schertz, universal city, or off nacog/thousand oaks/O'Connor areas. Its going to be small, probably only about 30 people so I don't need a large place. Thanks!

BUMP - any ideas? I'm finding that a lot of the clubhouses are resident only.

If you know anyone who lives in an apartment see if the party house can be rented out.

I don't know if this is too big, but there is Oak Leaf Banquet Hall on Naco Perrin. There is also the Regency Swim Club next to MacArthur High School, but I can't remember if there is a clubhouse there. The Northern Hills pool is open to non-residents, but again, I can't remember if there is a clubhouse there. You might also want to try the Northern Hills Golf Club which has a banquet center. Their Peacock Room is meant for 25-50 guests.

I have never been to anything at this hall, but it looks fine from the outside and does not look like it would be pricey. Welcome to Royal Event Center

I went to a baby shower at the John Sterling building which is next to the pool in Kirby. John Sterling Building - City of Kirby It was pretty basic but seemed decent. A couple of miles from your target area, but not too far off...

Also consider hotels in the area - some should have a meeting room and/or a banquet room that can be divided up into smaller rooms.
