A good question. Not sure...I only go there on the weekends. I know that Phoenix Cafe and Golden Wok offer Dim Sum daily.

J Alexanders is good.
Liberty Bar is is awesome.
I just found out about Scenic Loop Cafe. Great place and good food.
For mexican, I like a lot, but Martha's and El Chapparel are my favorites. I also like Karam's - it's a place I like to take visitors. Also I like Mexican Manhattan downtown.
Speaking of downtown, I can't resist Schilo's.

Smoking is banned in all indoor establishments except bars and nightclubs.

I like this China Super Buffet in the Rolling Oaks Mall. A fresh lunch special only costs $3.75. Their all you can eat lunch only costs $5.99. However, they only offer king crab for dinners. Still, you only pay $8.99 for a dinner buffet with all kinds of seafood. It is very cost effective. BTW, save your space for their Asian style cake and Hunan/Szechuan dishes if you love spicy For more information, check China Super Buffet's web site: Super Variety Buffet Sushi Mongolian Seafood Sirloin Steak Mexican Chinese Szechuan Hunan San Antonio San Antonio San Antonio Texas Texas.

Man, if you want an awesome burger, check out Timbo's down by the Pearl Brewery re-development (Broadway at, um, I forget, down by Pig Stands if you're familiar with the area), it's basically Little Hipp's, same cook, same staff, etc., complete with shypoke eggs and gimmiedraws. AMAZING burgers, SOOOOO much better than Chris Madrid's (which I think is WAY overrated). Seriously, this place rocks, and is a hint at the changes that Broadway will undergo once the Pearl is completed (think the SoCo area in Austin).

Anyone found any good Fish and Chips around SA?
I recently tried the ones over at Lion and Rose and was pleased.
Are there any other joints out there anyone can recommend?

Try Bawdsey Manor Tearoom at Bracken Village... they have great fish and chips (and everything else, too!). My daughters took me there for Mother's Day and it was fabulous. A fun place to walk around and shop, too!
