He was most likely a student at the DLI English language school on Lackland. Glad to see you enjoyed your stay in SA.

Hi Mohmad,

So glad you enjoyed your visit to San Antonio. I think it is wonderful that you had a chance to come to the U.S. to study English and learn about another country. I have spent some time living overseas and learning another language, too, and understand how much it can change your life and understanding of the world. I even became an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher because I loved it so much.

I also think it's very brave of you to reach out for friendship with others in another country. I would be happy to keep in touch with you by email. I will send you a private message.

(don't worry about your English writing/grammar - you are doing great! It's HARD to learn another language! )

Compared to my Arabic, your English is excellent!

Glad you enjoyed your time here. I hope all is well in your part of the world, and that you and your family enjoy great peace!

Cheers! M2

ha ha, yep, if I carried on a conversation in Arabic it would be two words back and forth and all I'd be saying is yes and no

Plus, English is by far the hardest language in the world to learn, especially the English we speak here in the USA. Just look at it for a moment and notice all the rules we don't follow. I seriously feel sorry for anyone trying to learn it. I had a much easier time learning the two other languages I learned, mostly because of the rules they had to follow.
