Default Tennis clubs and tourneys

We will be living in the NE side of town and I am looking for a good tennis club to join, one that has regular tournaments and generally has people around to play with on the courts. They can be indoor or outdoor, and any surface (though I tend to play hard court most often). What are the fees for the club, requirements, etc. Any and all info would be great - thanks

Sonterra and Oakhills Country club seem to be popular for tennis. Sonterra is pretty easy to get into, i'm not sure about Oakhills.

As for the north east side, I have seen a tennis club on thousand oaks drive next to Northern Hills golf course.

Any other recommendations for tennis in San Antonio? Or are these three clubs about it for the tennis community?

I haven't participated in any, so can't speak for them, but here are a few more:

NW - Green Tree Tennis and Swim

NE - Beyster Windcrest Tennis Center

You might also be able to find more information from the San Antonio Tennis Association.
