Any recommendations on auto paint body shop's in SA? I am on the NW side near Sea World..

Been quoted $800 for roof alone...am also looking for one that may accept a payment plan possibly...
A good paint job is going to cost.

A low price paint job may look good but will last about a year.

The key to a paint job that will last is the "surface preparation".

Find out what they will actually be doing before they apply the paint.

Went to a place on 12500 Perrinn Beitel and they did excellent job, and gave me free rental car too.
To do the whole car paint job on my metallic black Honda (which is pretty hard to match), with lustrous clear coat, was $850 4 years ago. The coat still looks like new.
Not sure what they charge now, but I don't think that would be unreasonable. The place was recommended by Toyota dealership who uses them a lot.
I took pictures of the process, let me know if you want to see them.

FWIW... JD's Paint and Body is a small locally owned shop. Do great work and are priced very reasonable too. Highly recommend them. Good luck on your search.

I was given a recommendation by the nice guys at MD Automotive for Collision Quest (located right next to them on FM 1560 about a half mile from Culebra/FM 471). Their number is (210) 688-6648, MD said to talk to Victor.

If you do get a quote from or work done by them let me know, I am interested to hear how they are...

Cheers! M2

I will second Collision Quest on service and quality.. Def talk to Victor, he is the owner/painter.

Choice Paint on Nacogdoches.. right behind Southwest Paint Shop. Don't have the number but they do complete repaints at reasonable prices.
