I just called Tiger to set up the bill pay online and found out it's not quite ready for live yet. The guy said they expect it to all be worked out by 1 April. BTW, my current bill is $38.15 and I'm guessing that's WAY cheaper than those other fools..

Yes...way cheaper than the green trucks with "WM" on the sides.

Great! This is the ONLY bill I have to mail in. Now, what am I going to do with the book of stamps? Well, at least they can be used for Birthday and other cards!

Why'd you buy a whole book?

Fair question. I was at our local Walgreen's and had to get a stamp to mail a Birthday card before the afternoon pick-up, and they don't sell single stamps. I rarely go to the Post Office these days.

Yeah, a book of stamp lasts us about a year now.. Tiger accepts phone payments via credit card and they don't charge you for it. That's what I did this time and she said the next bill will be $64.25 for three months. Definitely better than those other guys..

BTW, this whole thing started when I got this envelope in the mail the other day and it only had a return address label on it. I opened it up and found the payment slip and a check, but my wife kinda forgot to put their address on the envelope

Question Should I switch from WM to Tiger Sanitation?

Just wanted to check the forum (it's been quiet the last few months) to make sure Tiger is still a good choice. I live in the hills above New Braunfels (River Chase) and just got a flyer from Tiger Sanitation. I've called their rep and they are offering $66.03/quarter Vs. WM at $113/quarter.

Any problems recently?
How much are they picking up without a hassle?
What about contracts and price gouging?
Any other advice/issues?

Thanks ahead of time.

No problems..they've been great. Once a week pickup..put "as much out as you want". They give you the Texas-sized can.
