Something free--go to Costco at DeZavala and 10, stake out a good spot on the West (? I think) side of the building, and watch the Six Flags fireworks. Or pay admission and watch them inside the park. Either way, take your warm coats, it is supposed to get pretty chilly tonight.

You could always go downtown, too, but I don't know that I would subject little ones to that--getting out of town after they're over will probably not be much fun.

Maybe you could turn the TV on to the local coverage and play board games while it's on. We've done that before, but then again, we know how to party. IOW, we're sorta boring!

If you live outside 1604 (and quite a few places inside), just put a chair on your driveway and watch your neighborhood go to war. My neighborhood (Westcreek) puts out at least 100x more fireworks than downtown and 6 Flags put together..

I used to sell the fireworks over in the Westcreek area. Yeah it is a sight to see LOL!
