Apretty good chunk of the northside district that is unbuilt is made up of government canyon state park and camp bullis which will save some of the "white space".

A big suburban school district like that is going to fall soon. I suggest Northside look at Cy-Fair I.S.D. in Houston's suburbs (third largest school district in the state). The thing is getting too large to manage, and it is not even close to build out yet (still a Woodlands-size development, plus many others of comparable size to be built).

Default Brandeis High School

NISD has completed the proposed boundary changes for the new high school, Brandeis. Has anyone received any information in the mail about the potential change? I know they post that a meeting will be held in September, but I'd like to hear what the possible changes are now. Thanks.

The proposed boundaries were posted as of today on the Northside website.

Boundaries : Northside Independent School District - San Antonio, TX 78238

In addition to the proposed boundaries for Brandeis, Northside is also proposing to rezone portions of the Taft attendance area to O'Connor and part of Clark to Marshall.

What is going on with the Kyle Seale ranch development? Last I looked land had not even been cleared yet.

Also what tenants have already opened at Hausman Village? What tenants are planned? Is the 100-room hotel still a go?

With nearly half the projected $60 million UTSA athletics park ($27.5 million from city bonds) funded and a master plan soon to be released, the project will probably begin construction on the first phase (soccer stadium) by the end of the year.

210 made a post that referenced the development as larger than The Rim. This is untrue. The Rim, once completed, will occupy upwards of 8.5 million sf.

The site plan for Kyle Seale Ranch is from 2004 and there has been no progress on the land. Have plans changed? Any idea on who owns the land?

San Antonio annexed seven sub-divisions in the area on Dec. 31, 2005. These sub-divisions are documented in the following URL:

Hausman United Communities

The annexation was not "perfected" on Dec. 31, 2007 as a lawsuit was filed to void the annexation during 2006. Commercial development of the land outside Loop 1604 between Kyle Seale and Hausman is probably being delayed waiting the outcome of this lawsuit.

At least we are finally getting traffic lights at both ends of Sonoma Parkway!
