Default Development at Kyle Seale?

Does anyone know of any developments planned for the Kyle Seale/1604 area?

Do you mean in the area right off the 1604 where they have goats on the west side of Kyle Seale and horses on the north? As far as I know it's still owned by ranchers and isn't being sold. Farther up Kyle Seale past Sonoma Ranch and Grandview Toll Brothers is starting to build.

Yeah, right at the intersection of 1604 and Kyle Seale. With all the housing to the west and north of there going up and the shopping to the east, it seems like it is prime real estate for development. I don't understand how goats and horses can compete with the money they could get for the land. Seems like a good investment opportunity for someone.

Goats and horses to get the ag expemtion and what for the property value to increase. Then the person who buys the land pays the back taxes for the 5 yrs prior to buying it if they got the ag exemption. I believe that is how it works...so right now it is a good investment for someone

The land around there is also astroniomcal in price. There's some land at the north corner of Hauseman at the 1604 and then again on the south side of the 1604 at Kyle Sealey for sale and you'll notice that the signs have been there forever. No one wants to pay the price they are charging.

Thanks to all. Do you happen to know what they are asking? I am in school in St. Louis and will be moving back to SA next year (Clark HS '97 grad). I am looking for a either a lot or lease space for an orthodontic office. This forum is awesome, almost like being home. Thanks everyone.

I've seen longhorns there, too. Used to drive that way when my church bought a huge parcel of land there. Financing for the church fell through, though. Shame... they had 160+ acres of land and were planning on a shelter for single mothers, as well as a huge park for people in the area.

Isn't this the land that UTSA just bought at Hausman/Kyle Seale and Loop 1604? It's rumored to be used for sports facilities including a possible new football stadium if and when they begin play.

That land is on the inside (south) of the 1604. Kyle Seale Ranch is on the outside (north) of the 1604 from Hauseman to Kyle Seale. That land was not part of the 125 acres sold to UTSA.
