I sort of figured that something was afoot. I am just hopeful that the new builder puts houses comparable to those already here.

Thanks for the info!

Keep in mind that Medallion was buying these lots from a Galo partnership, so he still owns the majority of the lot inventory in this subdivision. Expect one of the usual suspects to take over the remaining inventory.

It looks like the Medallion lots in the Hill of Alamo Ranch have been purchase by Houston Builder "Chesmar Homes".

Thanks for the update, Joer. Can you provide a source (article, press release, etc.)? I went to their site and couldn't find anything, but the purchase may be too recent.

Sorry, correction. not the hills of alamo ranch but the summit at alamo ranch (the Highland homes area). They have their signs on all the lot and the new model that they are building.

Oh...dang. Well, hopefully someone with homes equivalent to what's already here will pick up the options on the lots in the Hills. Thanks for the update, and let us know if anything else comes your way!

That would explain the half-complete Medallion home for sale in my neighborhood that is being listed by a realtor, along with the former model home.

Do you know if construction is going to be finished on it?? I always wondered what happens in cases like this. My builder (Kimball Hill) also went out of business, but they finished my house right before going under
