Rent-A-Dream
We're looking for a special rental car for a special occasion. I'm trying to find someone in San Antonio that rents muscle cars. It's sort of a Christmas, anniversary, birthday gift, for my wife and I. I've found a couple of places that rent exotics, mostly European models, but I'm more interested American muscle, and preferably classic American muscle.
Hertz rents a Shelby Mustang, but the closest one available is in Houston. If anyone has any other suggestions - I'm all ears. Thanks.

That would be pretty fun, but I couldn't find anything either. I guess that's one problem with living in a small big city..
I did find Harley rentals though. I'm going to do that one of these days, even though it won't satisfy my desire to buy one..

I knew there were a couple places to rent Harley's, that would be fun, but I haven't sat on a bike in 20 years. Some how, my wife doesn't think a big road-rash is a good time! I can't believe this isn't available... given the size of the city, and given the significant tourist business here in town, you'd think some of these folks would want a little escape every now and then.

I think you're gonna have to get some insider info. I'm sure the service is available here, but it's not well publicized. Maybe one of the Harley rental places knows something. I'd equate a Harley with an old muscle car more than pretty much anything else. I'd love to spend a day in an old Roadrunner, Camaro, Nova etc.. I'll pass on anything from the blue oval though

You know, they have the good old car show at the Pig Stand on Broadway I think on Sunday afternoons....why don't you call the Pig Stand and find out when the next time the classic car show will be in the parking lot?? (I know it was there last Sunday) Maybe one of them could help you out with finding your dream car to rent.
