I haven't heard anything about Elm Creek, but maybe someone else on the thread/board has. Thanks again for everyone's advice on neighborhoods. We were in San Antonio a few weeks ago and spent about four days with the mapsco and a list of homes trying to get to know the neighborhoods. There were some older neighborhoods (Lavaca, Mahncke Park, Alta Vista) that we really liked but we just didn't see the right house that was in our price range. I think we're going to have to alter our search and go with a less historic neighborhood that still has some character. We really liked some homes in Northwood due to the lots, homes and location. We're flying to San Antonio next week and plan to put an offer on a house at that time.

Thanks again for everyone's feedback. It's been invaluable!
