My first concert was Patty Loveless at the Rodeo. I think I was 8 at the time.

After that my first 'official non-rodeo' concert was Depeche Mode USA Summer Tour in 1994. Been to every one of them (in San Antonio) since.

This is soo embarrassing, but let me say up front that I was given the ticket for free to attend this concert with a friend and her mother back in the 80's. That concert was Menudo. After that I saw Queensryche and Ozzy, I had the opportunity to see Motley Crew, but at the last minute couldn't go.

First concert was the Beach Boys in Atlanta in '65 or '66 and I think my first in San Antonio was in the spring of '68 to hear The Association (Windy, Cherish, Never My Love, Along Came Mary) I believe at Trinity University.

Where was the Janis Joplin concert... I think I went but got scared because the crowd was so rowdy... mostly bikers that were stoned out of their minds. It was in a smaller auditorium but I can't remember where... it was different.

I remember seeing Shawn Phillips at the Olmos Basin (outdoor concert). Nice hair and nice looking!
