It is hard to beat waffle house for greasy, tasty slop in a nice cafe. Pity they are not out West.

There is this place called Tank's that I found...but not sure if they are still open...supposedly opened last year to serve up some chicken and waffles. It would be a shame if I had to road trip it to TN or GA for some of those vittles. My wife does not see the appeal, but she is still trying to figure me out.

In Orlando my wife and I sat next to Jason Williams (white chocolate) who seemed cool. I went to WH because I Love the hash browns and of course my DW loves the waffles. It is cool that you can see them cooking your food.

Dang, here I am sitting at work starving (I didn't bring my usual lunch as I have a luncheon to go to this afternoon), and someone had to bring the thread on Waffle Houses back up! I grew up in Florida and it was a staple of our diet as well. When I did USAF Reserves in Charleston, S.C. while in college it was our replacement chow hall when we were off base in hotels, as there usually was one right next to where we were staying. I love their hash browns and sweet tea!

Cheers! M2
