Default Converse?? Loma Alta?? Rolling Creek?

Hello
I was just reading a few interesting posts about Converse from late 2006 and early 2007. I was wondering if I could trouble y'all once again for info.
Can anyone tell me what they know about Converse?
Quick police response?
Taxes?
Do people shoot off fireworks in July and Jan? My dogs and I really hate fireworks and it's really bad where I am now.
How about flooding?
What happens there there is a lot of rain? How did Converse make out during the floods of 1998 and 2000?
Are municple codes enforced? (i.e. bad neighbors who don't take care of their property, etc..)

I'm looking at houses in Loma Alta Estates by Bella Vista and Rolling Creek by Standard Pacific. Anyone have any insight/experience on those areas and/or those builders?
I did see one complaint about Standard Pacific but no details.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Another subject: My neighbor never responded to my offer to purchase some her land, so I guess I'm going to have to file a small claims case for all the damages that she has caused to my house.
Has anyone ever sold a house because of really bad neighbors? I'm wondering how I'm going to sell it with all her trash laying around.

Standard Pacific is leaving the San Antonio Market. Honestly converse is kinda ghetto/ white trash redneck, and I have family that lives out there off Kitty Hawk and topperwine. The subdivsion they live in has really gone downhill the last 10 years, more cars on the streets, yards taken care less of. Unless you have to be out there, there are better places.

There are alot of Section 8 Housing in this area, I myself avoided moving to that area. I was thinking about moving to Sunrise because I found a great deal on a 2 story home...let's just say if you see a teenager running with a car radio in his hand just stay away from that neighborhood.

As for fireworks, yeah people definatly shoot off fireworks in that area, plus you will hear guns firing off as well.
