I bought my home 8 years ago when they were called Continental Homes. The house is wonderful and i've had no issues with my home at all. I'm very pleased with the build quality of the house.

I bought a DR Horton home and have absolutely no complaints. The only downfall I had was the amount of time it took to have it built. I was told 5 months and it took 9 months.

You are in TX, right? Have you not heard what is happening to all these poor innocent targeted homeowners there, and really all over the USA? Go to www.ahrc.com
www.privatopia.blogspot.com
www.ccfj.net
www.hoadata.org
www.onthecommoms.com (broken link)
www.associationmovie.com
The list goes on and on! Talk to the innocent, targeted people and families!
If you can risk loosing everything you have, go ahead, and unlike so many victimized, who had no clue, you will get what you deserve! Please rethink your decision!

Many of these sites will link you to the other's not listed!
ps. Talk to Atty. David Kahne, in Austin who recently authored the HOA Protection Public Policy Proposal, for the AARP! It is online everywhere!

SSMITH 2
I just got on the websites you gave yes they have had allot of problems this one guy lost out on 15.000 that's a shame, and he said that dr horton did not care.
goodbuy to them there are many builders and we will do are homework on everyone of them.
I built my home here on pa 3 years ago and let me tell you, i was like a watch dog i didn't let them get away with anything, that goes with any builder you have to stay on top of them and be at the site, i was here everyday.
Another question i have how about if you want to buy land and then build your house, but not in a community? Can you do that?
My home now is not in a community, i don't want to be part of a so called community. How does that work?
Thanks in advance
