Prior to Burlington, there was a Frost Bros. store there, and prior to Frost Bros. was Liberty House, if I remember correctly.

Crossroads is up for sale with several potential buyers, all want to restore the mall as is. Target didn't want an entrance to the mall. They also have a contract that is really hurting the mall. Does anyone remember when the mall had the comic Gallagor or Country Wester Singer Ray Price perform at the mall? The question earlier about the restaurant near Stein Mart is to the west of Stein Mart. The space is still there, it has an upstairs and downstairs west of the threater. The Handy Andy downstairs was their stockroom. The Winn's store was after the woolworths and the toy box was owned by steve always.

My fav Wonderland shop was the magic/mask shop by Tandys leather, does anyone remember the name? I was very proud to get a rubber Creature of The Black Lagoon mask (and green dye for my hands) one Halloween. They had everything a boy could want there! I also recall a sheeted off "adult" area, but I was never old enough to go in.

Does anyone remember the name of the large drugstore that was located next to Handy Andy (on your right as you walked out of Handy Andy into the mall)? Was it Rexall Drugs?

I remember eating lunch there as a kid in the booth next to the window that looked out onto the mall.

it looks so ugly now, like a bad fiesta party gone horribly wrong.

its this ugly shade of bright orange.. and weird shades of green that have a sheen similar to a metallic colouring.. but are just weird. almost like a florecent but not quite.

man its so ugly now. i cant wait to get out of this neighborhood in a month!

I grew up with Wonderland. Went there alot in the 70s. I recall Handy Andy, Joskes, and Winns. What shops were on the lower level? I was visiting SA and drove by mall last week. What a dump! Area needs to be fixed up. Miss the good ol days of SA.
