I will second this place - it's really really good. Last time we were there we even heard a zydeco band...

Ditto for Crawdaddy's in Corpus! While you're there, get a shirt that says "Pinch me, peel me, suck me!" Their food is excellent!

Personally, I am not a big fan of Crawfish.

My wife, however, LOVES Crawfish. It is without a doubt her favorite food. She can eat pound after pound. You would be amazed, she is so petite that she sometimes buys clothes at GAP for kids, but this little thing can eat 5 pounds of crawfish at one time. She waits every year for February to arrive because I guess that's crawfish season.

Her favorite place for Crawfish is Papa Deux. I know they are a little bit more expensive than the ones you get at Dry Dock, but she says the freshness and quality are far better.

She will also drag me to Hooter's for their Crawfish. I am not kidding, my wife makes me take her to Hooter's. For Crawfish.

Default best crawfish

I am from New Orleans and you know we like spicy foods as well as richly seasoned food. I've become addicted to a new spot in Humble,Texas, just outside Houston. It is on the corner of Kenswick and FM1960 west just pass Hwy 59. I cannot recall the name but I sure know how to get there!!!!

59 south towards houston- exit Right onto 1960W go past Golden Corral, Wal-Mart get in your upper left lane and make a left just before the Walgreen's on your right. You will see nothing but bright yellow flags saying "HOT BOILED CRAWFISH"

59 NORTH towards Cleveland- exit left onto 1960W and follow same directions.

They also sell seafood plates, etouffee, boudain balls...etc. It's delicious.

There is a place called (I think?) Fish City Grill near 281/1604 that has a sign saying they have crawfish. Does anyone know if they have good crawfish there?

We had some really good ones last weekend at a Cajun Festival at Anhalt Hall in Bulverde! They were seasoned just right and juicy! Making me crave 'em right now!

From LA & back in SA since 1980. Quickly found Dry Dock - still good (Fredricksburg & Wurzbach). Acadiana (410 NW @ Marbock exit) is also good, and perhaps a bit cheaper. If anyone knows where to purchase by the sack I would gladly chip in to buy a propane burner, pot, & basket to share. Any true "coonass" can email me at bringier@yahoo.com. (If you don't know that coonass is a term of pride for people born & raised in South Louisiana, then maybe you don't qualify..?) ......Bill

Dry Dock wins by a mile. Nothing like watching the Spurs and eating some crayfish and beer
