I don't this idea will fly to well with iTunes, Netflix and other websites. I wish I had U-Verse or Fios in my area.

Absolutely right. The Express-News article today said that receiving an average HD-quality movie will use up 8GB of your bandwidth allocation. T-W's highest bandwidth plan can fit in just 12 of those. Can you imagine paying $8 in $1/GB overage charges for bandwidth on a single movie?
Fingers crossed that this "success" doesn't convince AT&T to consider a similar path for DSL customers.

This is exactly the reason I didn't accept their price lock offer...I'm actively looking for other options. I would bet money one of the reasons SA is one of their first markets is because of the lack of competition here. I wish Grande would get off their butts and build out to 78250...they have it on the other side of Bandera Rd just a couple of miles from here.

I have Internet America. It cost to set it up with the broad band antenna on your house (very small antenna) but I pay $41/month for the lowest package. There is no limit on bandwidth (YET!!).
