older house partially insulated/new windows

75F when I am at home, 83F when I am at work
cooking on weekends only (electric)
computer on 24/7 (CCTV running)
laundry once a week - 1 load, no dryer, no dishwasher
energy saving appliances/light bulbs, light off in rooms not used, gas water heater set on 120F

CPS <$60 in Winter (gas for heating), <$100 in Summer - incl. garbage
Water usage below minimum - $26 (incl. occasional lawn watering)

even my 8 unit complex pays for water, trash and gas. some apt complexes are just cheap and blah!s
If they made me subsidize others' water use, then I'll use my dishwasher liberally in protest. Ditto to a washer if I had one.

I like to stay cool in the summer so I will not tell you my electric+gas bill.

Family of two people
2500 sq ft 4br 18 year old house - small yards
water is never under $68

gas cook top and dryer (ever try to buy a gas dryer ? got to order them on line, none on display or in stock local)

Home Depot has them in San Antonio. My LG gas dryer I bought from them is da bomb. Saves me net cost on utility bill of $10/month and dries my clothes faster to boot.

And rebates...forgot to mention you can get a $100 rebate from CPS Energy on purchase of any gas dryer.
