Ok so I take a look at the demographics for this neighborhood and it is 93% one race only.
How would a mixed couple be treated in the Dominion? Is there racial tension in wealthy neighborhoods?
Thanks

If you can buy a house there, you will be ok.

Umm the dominion is basically the exact opposite of what you were looking for in an earlier post. Gated, not walkable.

You have got to be kidding. Elnina is right. If you can afford it, it doesn't matter. I'm not so wealthy to live in the Dominion, but not far away and our neighborhood is made up of people who are successful professionals. Our ethnicity, race, color, creed...isn't a factor in our neighborhood. You think the Dominion is populated with a bunch of racists? Get a clue. Think you will find one or two Spurs other than Matt Bonner in the Dominion and you think they have troubles with their neighbors? I'm guessing you are trolling, but if you aren't you need to really wise up. You have the cash to live there? Based on your question, I would say you don't. Any professional in San Antonio (and 99 percent of everyone else) know the answer to your question.

I am as we have the opportunity to move and I am in search of a location to move to, just like many others on this board.
Thank you for your observation.

True - but most are looking in a given city - you're asking much the same questions in several states.

Ok, you make a good point. However, we have the opportunity to move to several states---NC, FL or TX. It's the nature of my husband's job.
I really don't understand why this is an issue or why I would be looked at as if I am faking posts and being a "troll"? Fair enough that no one here knows anything about me but I don't have time for this. I have a family to take care of and important decisions to make in my life. I'm not going to sit in front of a computer and make up fake profiles.
For anyone who thinks that because one is in a certain social circle (of perhaps a "higher" social status), racial tension goes away or people become automatically color blind, that is absolutely incorrect. Please do some research and you will find that even in the richest neighborhoods in America, such issues do exist, usually showing its ugly head in high school classrooms and sporting events, and in country clubs. I'm not saying it's like this all over the country, but it is in some areas, and I was wanting to know if San Antonio (perhaps the Dominion) was also this way.
I am truly sorry that I offended some of you--I meant no harm. I loved the people I encountered in SA, as you all are one of the kindest, most genuine people I have met in the country--I really mean this. Moreover, I think your city is lovely and enchanting. These are all reasons I'm seriously considering a move there.
I think I have said enough at this point. I will no longer be responding to anything posted on this thread. You all take care and may God Bless your lives and your beautiful city.
