I would recommend Myrons, you can sign up online or when you go for your first visit, they sign you up for their mailing. We get a coupon from them just about every other month for a free entree and while some of the sides are hit and miss, the salads and steaks are very good and they have some tables in the back that are dark and cozy. The service is also really good.

Geez, I'd just go to Chama Gaucha. (spelling) I made the mistake of letting my wife go first when going to salad bar. I let the first guy drop off a steak and I was done with salad. I was a steak eating machine!!! and Lamb. Didn't get up once to salad bar.

You can what you pay for with beef prices today. Josephine Street is reasonable and the steaks are OK, and I think the atmosphere is much better there then any of the other less expensive places listed.

Flemings also has a 3 course dinner special for $35 pretty often.

The wife and I would order a ribeye with baked potato and salad, and an appetizer of wings, and split it; it was a reasonable price for a good amount of food.

After the location on 281 near Thousand Oaks closed, we haven't been back because now there isn't one nearby.
I've never understood why it closed either, it was always busy; I think something shady was going on.

Anyway, it encouraged me to fire up the grill at home more often.

They are remodeling the one at the forum, the closest one to us since the 281 location closed. They offer great discounts if you sign up for their email club too

We love Texas Roadhouse. Great ribeye steak for about 18.00 with side and salad and good rolls. Reasonably priced and good food.
