Larry King ask Donald Trump what he was going to do with his $800 and he said he was going to buy a bar of soap. I am going to buy a new computer.

I thought it was $800. I will spend it, spend it, spend it. On what, I don't know...but I will find a way to have fun with it. Anybody know who soon? I was thinking maybe June or July.

If you listened to the Dave Ramsey radio show regularly, you wouldn't think that. From there I've learned that most people in this country spend money as if it was water running through their fingers. They don't just live paycheck to paycheck, they're spending paychecks that they won't see for months or years.

I fully expect to hear next fall that lottery ticket sales had a noticeable increase right after these checks went out.

Sorry but I'm confused as I obviously haven't kept up with it too closely. So, we're not getting in as a part of our normal refund (for those who get refunds)? We just get a separate, random check in the mail at the beginning of the summer?

That's hilarious! I just had to buy a new computer too. Too bad my old one couldn't hold out for a few more months. Go MacBook!!!

That looks to be the case. There are income limitations though.

So far here's the deal:

$600 per person or $1200 per couple and $300 per child.

If you make less than $3000 per year your check will be $300.

Individuals making $75000 or couples making more than $150000 will see a reduction.

Checks will could be in the mail 60 days from when the president signs off.

However, so far we only have a House version. The Senate still has to come up with theirs and then hammer out the differences with the House. This could take awhile because:

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., praised the agreement but added that he expects senators to "work to improve the House package by adding funds for other initiatives." He cited unemployment benefits, food stamps, grants to states and public works projects."

Who knows, maybe they can pull it off quickly.

That's brilliant.

Ever looked around in Vegas? It's pretty clear who's winning (and it's not us.)
