Have you called for service? Calling them for service will get this fixed much faster than posting on CD. Need4speed comment notwithstanding, one of the reasons I left TWC and went to Uverse was because my TWC service would go out frequently and sometimes they would take as long as a week to get someone out to my house. I went for a week with no phone, internet or TV (first world problem, I know). With ATT outages are rare and when they have happened, they have responded within hours, not days.

In some places like my apartment, uverse is our only option. My service is normally fine and I prefer the wireless boxes.

I didn't lost signal (at least I didn't notice it - not watching tv much), but I had few days with "snow". Not sure what caused it.

I have AT&T unverse currently and was formerly time warner customer.

Time warner was faster for me but would have a lot of down time and the techs couldn't figure it out.

AT&T almost never has down time but is slower than time warner.

With all of that being said, not sure which I like more.

All of the tech issues I've ever had with uverse were solved once I called them about it.
