I stopped by the mall this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see a number of people shopping and walking around. The pizza place is taking a bit too long to open but with the summer coming up it should do well. Wish I had the money to invest to reopen the cake/cookie shop in the lower corner but I dont but its a nice dream. If i win the lottery someday I will do it then.

Do you work for wonderland mall? It sounds like it.

Agreed, 'cause that description is a far cry from what we experienced a few weeks ago!

If not that, their user ID is a huge indicator. Seriously, anyone who feels such a close relationship to a mall makes you wonder...

no I don't work there, I have just enjoyed the mall for a long time. Absoluately no ties to the mall or anyone who works there. I created my screen name before the mall was renamed mainly because I was hoping the owners would indeed rename it wonderland.

Some women are animals. Ive been in plenty of womens restrooms to know of the horrors that go on in there. I dont know why you guys are always acting like only men make a mess in the restroom.

True. As a volunteer, I helped clean the bathrooms at a local Little League for several years. Seems the women's/girl's bathroom was almost always the worst.

I was in the movie theatre business for 30 years. The women's restrooms were ALWAYS the dirtiest, and grossest.

Smile Wonderland Mall & Woolworth's

It's been over 36 years since I was at the Wonderland Mall, working at Woolworth's as one of the Assistant Managers. I later joined the military and left the State for over 28 years. We're back home in Texas now, but still have fond memories of Wonderland Mall. Texas has changed quite a bit since we moved away in 1981, but this is where family and old friends still are. Times and people change, so hopefully everyone will have fond memories of their younger days.

I love going to the Bijou because you can see movies there on limited release. It smells funny and the service is GARBAGE compared to the Drafthouse. But I would hate to lose it.
