Unfortunately, I'm currently in Kansas City and wont be back to SA until this summer, but I'm curious to know if there are any improvements in the signage. Specifically, did they install the signs that tell you the next three exits that are coming up? Those are all over the KC metro area and they really help you to prepare yourself as far as getting the right lane to catch an exit. Given that I-10 is now 10 lanes from 410 (soon to be Huebner) to the double-deck area, I would think this would be a safety concern more than anything.

I'm glad it's done but I can't say it looks any better. I suppose that's a byproduct of the majority of the roads of this city. But, atleast they made some progress.

My first super negative comment: I HATE that I-10 is done, because I just got a big fat ticket cruising down the beautiful left lane!!! Bring back the construction and I won't be so tempted. . . .

To others out there: Beware! There appears to be an increased police presence now that the highway is in good shape.

I enjoyed the drive downtown on I-10 today so much that I missed the Frio St. exit altogether. I had to go on in to Durango and turn around. It's great that it's mostly finished! Add me to the list of people that freak on the concrete barriers. One is OK, but years ago when they were working on 35 N, you had one on each side of 2 narrow lanes and OMG I was afraid to blink out of fear I'd crash. And I really am a good driver--those just mess with my perception really bad.

that's a scary thought....

that's going to be hell- just like what she was talking about w/ I-35N, it'll be two lanes with barriers...

Smile I'm So Excited -- And I Just Can't Hide It!!!

I plan to be driving on I-10 when I come down in March. This will give me a chance to look at the changes, not only with 10's completion, but all the other construction still happening. Can't wait to see it!!
