I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good place in or around San Antonio with a great view at night?

Westover Hills (far west side close to Sea World). It's just that- west and hills. I have a friend that lives over there, and the first time I went to his house- when I walked back out the front door I looked over and I could see Downtown and alot of the city. It was soo beautiful, especially at night, and I was supprised that you could see downtown because we were a good 12 miles away (close to 1604) but sure enough it was there...

From Hillcrest and Fredericksburg, you take Hillcrest going away from the mall. Go until you take a right on Inspiration Dr. take it two blocks not looking back and take another right at E Broadview dr. follow that around as it curves (it changes to Willowbrook dr.) and you should get the best view of the city from anywhere. The problem is, there are no places to park and enjoy it on that block w/out parking in front of someone’s house. To get out, just keep going straight, it hits Hillcrest again.

Default La Cantera Resort

We live close to La Cantera and Fiesta Texas and sometimes drive up to La Cantera resort on top of the hill there. The views are great from up there and often take out-of-town guests there to see the city at night.

My favorite view is on the ramp from 1-10 East to 410 East. Just watch out for the other cars.
