Default How Bad is the traffic

When I read the posts about traffic....it makes me wonder. We are contemplating a move to San Antonio from the middle of North Carolina. Are there issues with traffic jams on a daily basis? Do people use any type of transportation to work if they live in a suburb? There are just busses right? There seems to be so much to do there that the heat may not bother me, but if the traffic sucks so bad...I may reconsider.

Thanks!!!

Highway building has not kept pace with development in many outlying areas around SA. If you plan to live in a suburb, you should plan to face traffic unless you choose carefully. You can avoid traffic in your daily commute if you factor it in to your search.
