Default 1940's Catholic Church Fires

Does any of you remember the name of the Catholic Church that was destroyed by fire in the mid to late 1940's. I am trying to help an elderly neighbor who used to live there. Any help with this would be forever appreciated. Please email me directly at DHu2781022@aol.com. Thanks again

Not sure if this is the one, but St. Peters was destroyed, and then rebuilt in 1955. It is in Alamo Heights right behind the 50/50 just off Broadway.
