Hi

I posted something specific about traffic from the DL
Dominion area to the hospital district .

Could anyone advise about traffic generally in SA?

Thanks!

It is getting worse and worse over the years. (Generally in SA, as you put it)

My commute to and from work is probably about 15-20 minutes longer (avg) when compared to the same commute 7 years ago but then I am not going from the Dominion to medical center (aka hospital district).

Any area where everyone is flocking to in droves is gonna have bad traffic. NW is prime bad traffic area for the foreseeable future.

I drive through that area daily, from the FOR area to just north of downtown for work. From the Leon Springs to Medical Center (Huebner Rd) area normally takes around 20 minutes. As a disclaimer, I leave for work around 5:45AM to avoid traffic. Between 6-6:30AM, traffic volume starts to build on I-10E. By 7AM, it's pretty heavy beginning at Leon Springs/Boerne Stage Rd, then clears out to just before Camp Bullis Rd. and La Cantera. From La Cantera it remains pretty heavy through DeZavala then opens back up a bit.

I was going to say how the heck you go from Leon Springs to Medical Center in 20 mins until I saw what time you leave your house at. Even with wide open lanes and no traffic, 20 mins is still pretty good.

My old employer uses a chopper to get back and forth from Scenic Loop to town (International). I lived out there in the early 80's and it was a different world. Much better!

It's still a good place to live. Would be better if CoSA would keep their hands to themselves...
