LOL a tiny bit predictable! But I think a lot of us are watching the gas these days--I know I have been trying to stay close and combine my trips. I may even start walking to HEB.

The idea of driving from Alamo Ranch to anything east of Sea World, north of The Rim, or south of Potranco is...well...a bit confusing. Especially for a place like IHOP (nothing against IHOP--we love their breakfasts).

For those of us who enjoy a really good meal, and like to try different places...yes, we do travel further. I like to try new restaurants and there are some places that might be a bit of a drive.

I don't have a problem with driving to a "destination restaurant" for a special occasion. What confuses me is that people will drive from, say, Alamo Ranch to The Forum to have some seafood that more than likely came from the same freezer truck as the stuff at HEB.

I guess I'm just too impatient for food. I'd rather not spend more time in the car than it took to eat.

Thanks for replying, though! Y'all are great!

Yea, whoever opens first will be PACKED!!!! I suspect that will be Olive Garden by the looks of things....Jims hired those snails from Burger King to build their place!

We were thinking Olive Garden too. I was over there again today and it seems to be coming along.
Thinking it will be a two hour wait when that place opens!

but we're still close enough to actually consider it. It's nice not having to drive so much any more

I'm imagining a two hour wait for OG as well. We're holding out for Maggiano's at The Rim, though. Much better food & prices, IMHO.

I'm curious about Mama Margie's though. We'll probably try it out just to see what it's all about.

In other news, how many of you did NOT get any coupons for the shopping center? My wife was disappointed that nothing came in the mail for any of the stores...
