they are no where near the same league as UT though.

That is true. A steady bring in of young, educated workers.

look at what Stanford (and Berkley) did for San Jose

or Harvard and MIT for Boston.

I voted wrong too. I thought it was a general question, then of course college is more important. But since youre askin if we would choose a footbal team over a new college, well then i would vote for football team. Utsa is a growing temendously and there will be am being builk already.

I had to go with College... That would help the local economy more then a Football team would...

More colleges = more educated populace = more high-paying jobs = more money and stronger local economy = Football teams chomping at the bit to move to SA and share the wealth.

I voted "college", because I'd rather have both than just one. Seems like a no-brainer to me
