Just you wait....I SWEAR the worst weather of the winter ALWAYS occurs during Rodeo time.....

It's crazy but my tropicals are still blooming. It's been a pretty mild winter IMO

It's coming it will get colder but we'll crest soon and go down hill we had a great spring that lasted all the way to early June hopefully it will be this way again this year.

I guess it depends on where you are.

We are on a lowish spot on Brook Hollow and we have had quite a few frosty days with my bougainvilleas completely frozen back. I have a weather station and we run 3-5 degrees coder than SAT everyday and they have been at 33 4 times.

Old thread, I know. Just thought I would set the record straight. This is from the National Weather Service in San Antonio:


"... Normally the first freezing temperatures occur around December 1st, while the average last
freeze occurs in late February. Extreme freeze dates have varied from 32 on October 30, 1917
to 31 on April 3, 1987."
