^ Yep. That's another area.
Near Fort Sam Houston is a Korean shopping strip mall with a Korean grocery, barber/beauty/nails, Korean Video shop, and a Korea tourist agency. There is also a church in the area.

By the way, I am of Korean descent and have Korean family in San Antonio. One of whom owns a beauty shop at Ingram Park Mall.

There might be a Little Korea somewhere in San Antonio. Maybe a few stores with Korean signage.

Okay folks we've established a Korean presence. Now, how about Japanese? Thanks.

Indian people are more concentrated in the Medical Center area and a little west of there towards the Ingram Park mall area.
You'll find many Indian specially stores as well in that area.
I personally love India Palace on Fredericksburg Rd road in the medical center.

Thank you everyone, I'm not in S.A. and loving it.
I've already seen a Korean restaurant called Kiku near downtown and there are Korean markets on Pat Booker Road, Wurzbach, and near Fort Sam.

Find one Korean and you've found the community. It's a pretty close-knit group and the community reaches beyond the social aspects of that term. I've been fortunate enough to have some good Korean friend's over the years and I've learned a bit about how things are done and it's simply amazing. There is an entirely separate infrastructure that runs the gamut from financials to health care. Amazing what can be accomplished when folks work together.
Oh yeah, for Korean food try Mi Rak Won off of Austin Hwy just east of Lanark.
