This map from your search shows the neighborhoods affected by the cap that's currently in place. Apparently it doesn't apply to all of Alamo Ranch.

Thank you, I cannot access the NISD page from the United Kingdom for some reason. I have tried various locations to access it. They must block out of country access to their site. Does anyone know when the new school will open?
Thank you

Capping of schools and changes in the "attendance" maps are all something that a good realtor will assist you with. These issues are constantly changing with all the growth and development around the AR area (and lots of others as well).

When we bought a house in Westcreek in 1994, our kids attended Galm Elementry, right across the street from where we lived. One reason we bought there. In 2000 after having rented out our home while we were assigned in Hawaii, they tried to tell me our youngest (the only ones still in elementary school at that time) could not attend Galm and had to be "bussed" to the school designated for the "overflow" because Galm was "capped".

Threw a hissy fit and pushed the issue since we had rented out our home, had paid school taxes the entire 4 yrs we were gone, he had attended Galm when we were stationed in SA and the kids that lived in our home had attended Galm, and they finally relented to allow him to attend there. I honestly think if I had not pushed the fact (based on the fact we had owned the home the entire time and had paid school taxes while gone AND he was a prior student there), they would not have. Yes, there was no denying I was going to fight tooth and nail to not bus my child when I lived across the street from the elementary school.
