Here come some pics of Treasure Island, a upscale residential community on Lake McQueeny. Has been known to flood.

Pics of Lake Placid, on the Guadalupe River, just west of Seguin on old Highway 90 A.
My grandparents and my parents owned property at Lake Placid since about 1946 until about 1953. I grew up at this location before starting to school in San Antonio.

Amazing pictures. I grew up in Seguin for a while. Do you have any of New Berlin?

Not yet. This weekend I'm taking pics of New Bruanfels. I'll put New Berlin on the list. Thanks for the request. If anyone else has some request, let me know.

Yes, nice pictures indeed. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. One place I haven't been and plan on visiting in the near future is Enchanted Rock. If you have some pictures readily available, I would like to see those. Thanks for sharing!

I was at enchanted rock years ago. No pics sorry. Do you remember Balanced Rock. It was nearby and a construction crew blew dynamite in area and it became unbalanced. They blamed a cycle gang for the damage, but it just wasn't so. In timed I'll get to Fredericksburg and take pics in area.

I'm getting ready to place Seguin, McQueeny and Lake Placid on the thread right now.

Wow, that movie was one of my absolute forever favorites... and the soundtrack just knocks me out....

AND...
wow, what an ambitious undertaking..... thanks for sharing the scenery!!! I haven't gotten around to getting out and about in the general area... but soon, I hope.......
THANKS AGAIN!!!
