Hi All,

I have been browsing online and it looks like homes are pretty reasonable in San Antonio, I was wondering why is that? Is San Antonio a safe city to live in?

There are many factors as to why homes are reasonable, not just in San Antonio but pretty much all of Texas. However, for its size SA is one of the largest cities/metro with such cheap housing. One of the reasons and probably the main reason is the abundance of land. Lots of land means land isn't expensive which then helps keep development costs low which in turns allows for the builder to offer a home at a reasonable price.

Is San Antonio safe? Actually, quite so and is annually ranked amongest the safest big cities in the country.
