I got the same email today, too.

FWIW, both AT&T and Grande recently made 1 Gigabit internet service available at my address.

Me, too. It feels like Google is throwing us a bone to keep us from giving up hope or signing on with another provider.

Oh boy....a cheap t-shirt with their logo on it = free advertising for Google.

Remember the old days when clothes didn't have their brand name and logos plastered on the front on them? Pay them money so you can walk around advertising their product...what a sham.

I mean, it's a free t shirt for me to run in. I think I'm coming out on top in this scenario.

Seems like a t-shirt that would be a good conversation starter for those curious/envious about you wearing a google fiber shirt. What is your t-shirt gonna say?

Google wants you to advertise what 90% of the city can't get.

It doesn't mention Google anywhere on the shirt. Though it might start a conversation, there is nothing on it to indicate it is advocating for Google.

I was under the impression Google Fiber isn't up and running anywhere in the city, yet.

Supposedly, Google committed to making Gigabit internet available to 100% of San Antonio, in exchange for some of the "accommodations" the city made for them.

I could have swore a poster or two mentioned getting it already but maybe I have it confused with ATT fiber.
