I didn't mention to you earlier, but Don went to my family church in San Antonio. His younger brother John Strange is the pastor of the same church, Grace Presbyterian Church in San Antonio. Don and I were in Sunday school together but Don was two years older and we didn't associate much. He graduated from Jefferson in 1959 and I graduated in 1961.
Back in the 60's, Don's father passed without a will and it was a real strain on the family. Don built that business up from almost nothing to what he has today. He has done very well for himself.

There's quite a few recent movies shot within driving distance of Austin... Last weekend I was visiting a friend who lives just NW of Austin, and he drove me by several sites used in the filming of Secondhand Lions...

With the recent Oscar win by the Coen Bros., I'm reminded that their first film Blood Simple was filmed in Hutto, Round Rock, and Austin.
