Talking Movie Locations around Texas

These are sights I know have been in movies:

The Alamo has been used in many pictures throughout the years beginning in 1910 and continuing. Here's a partial pic when James Arness was in town promoting another Alamo movie:

"Piranha" was shot in Seguin and San Marcos.

There was a movie with Dennis Quaid shot in some small towns around the hill country. He worked as a restocker for vending machines throughout the area. Sorry I forget the title.

Probably. Whatever place they used, I had never been there. I know it wasn't Landa Park.

Hello again,

Yes, I love it.

My Great Uncle Bill owned the Don Strange Ranch (obviously not called that then). I went up there every weekend growing up, then went down the road to my Uncle Douglass's place (where I currently reside).

Did you know that the Rope Course featured in the movie 28 days with Sandra Bullock:

Photos from 28 Days

is on the Don Strange Ranch?

Thanks again.
