U-Verse, Cable or Dish?
Not sure if I'm describing everything correctly so please forgive me.
We have been building a house and are nearing the end. As we get ready to move in we were wondering what type of television connection would be best.
We currently have Time Warner and would like to consider all our choices. We used to have Comcast when living in PA and loved it but Time Warner doesn't seem to really compare. We have HDTVs and wonder how that will affect our choices.
Please share your thoughts.
Thank you!!

This is the first time I've ever seen anyone say anything good about comcast though.. Most other forums I read normally speak of them in a very not nice way.. This has been covered multiple times in different forums though. Just search the SA section with keywords u-verse, cable, and dish.

Thanks RD. I'll take a look at the other threads. Thanks for stating it kindly to someone relatively new to the Forum and very new to SA.

No problemo and welcome to City-Data SA. We're usually pretty nice around here and if you like to talk about food, you're definitely in the right place..
The market for cable/dish/and whatever u-verse is considered (it's fiber to the door and then a combination of coax and wireless I think) is pretty fierce right now, so you'll probably get a great deal no matter which one you pick. My personal choice was pretty easy since u-verse isn't available where I live and I am not going to put a dish on the outside of my house..

I would suggest a slightly narrower search than rd2007 recommends.
City-Data Forum - Search Results
Searching this forum just for "U-verse" reveals a larger number of useful threads, since it's the newest provider and the one that people have had the most questions about.
