Too late, cat's out of the bag. I'll check it out next time I'm up that way. Thanks for the tip.

Not exactly a burger place, but the Cheese Cake Factory has an awesome Kobe burger. With all the boutique style burger joints popping up, it's priced relatively moderately.

Went to Armadillo's (the old Hipp's) with a coworker in the off-lunch hours and was surprised by their chili burger.

Today I had lunch at a place called "Abe's Boy Burgers". The burger and fries were very delicious. Worth going back to again. It is not some fancy chain burger place. I got the 1/3 pound burger which I took a pic of below. Added cheddar which is rare for most burger places to offer.

I still like Longhorn's.

Haven't been to Madrid's or (Blanco Cafe) in many years. There's Mad Macks on Roosevelt...

I have not been to Longhorn's in awhile but I don't remember their burgers looking that good. Thanks SATX56!

Was at Chris Madrids a couple of months ago. I was disappointed again. It's just not the same since Chris passed away. I got the Tostada Burger the last time and it was nothing but a grease burger with almost no flavor. Love the Madrids but things just aren't the same.
Blanco Cafe. I was eating there at least twice a week for years when the only location was on Blanco. I was there about a year ago and I can say I've had better frozen Mexican food than what was brought to me and the wife. The wife tasted hers and she was done. We stopped at BurgerKing later on. What was a great place is now on the avoid list. Same holds true for Tip Top Cafe. That was a great place for a chicken fried steak. Dennys is 5 star cuisine compared to it now.

Had a killer burger at Grayze for lunch today. The Hamburguesa Mexicana at Tito's is surprisingly awesome too.

You're welcome. I've got some even more appetizing pics somewhere.

Fried okra. They have sweet potato fries also.

Amber and S. Flores. The old Skee's burger location. We get some take home on occasion. Little greasy at times but not bad. Just a few blocks away.
