I used Audio Outlet up in San Marcos for my GTI, but have used Mothers many times in the past with good results.

We use Mothers on all of ours. I would strongly suggest getting the ceramic film over just tint. You won't believe the difference it makes in the heat. It's more than worth the money in our Texas heat. Unlike the film I had in a previous truck, the glass doesn't get blistering hot either. Her Fusion costs 350 to have put on. Takes a day but most of that is sitting waiting for the film to setup before they let you drive off with it. The 98% film makes the car seem like it's night time 24/7 in regards to the heat in the summer. A/C works fabulous too when it's not having to work overtime with the suns heat.

All depends on your budget and what you want out of your tint

Jay's Detail is the only shop in town that does Spectra PhotoSync tint, as well as a large selection of ceramic and metallic tints.

Never use a mobile tint service.

In San Antonio, the limit is whatever it is for the State Of Texas. Some inspection shops may not be diligent about checking this, though.

I've used Larry who owns Millenium Window Films, LLC in Converse on 4 cars over 11 years. I am a serious car enthusiast. NEVER have I had an issue with his products or workmanship. He's as honest as they come about what he sells and his work is excellent.
