What do they have at K-Mart that can't be found at Target/Wal-Mart?

I've been in a few K-Marts in other states recently and they are all dumps.

LOL

The one in Laredo (140 miles away) is always packed and dirty. However, they are like the number 2 or 3 store in the nation in sales...

The only time I was there was when they had a 20% off coupon for anything in the store, including Electronics. So I snagged a 40G PS3 for $319

I remember the Super K store at Nakoma-281 always had long lines and few cashiers, but other than that I loved the store.

I remember that store too. It was a ghost town whenever I went in there. I also remember the one at Fredericksburg Rd/I-10 as well as the one downtown across from Bill Millers.

The KMart on 410 and Marbach was the first place I ever saw the self-checkout counters. I remember thinking what a bad idea it was, that there was too much potential for people to bypass them and rip the store off. However, now they are everywhere...

Cheers! M2

K-Mart is stupid. The one on Fredericksburg Rd at 410 used to always get good business, as did many others around town, but they decided to close profitable stores to try "super-stores" located out in the middle of nowhere so they could compete with Wal-Mart. It back-fired badly.
