Last year around this time I drove by the SAWs building (old Albertson's building) and they had a line of cars going into the parking lot getting something in a box with green lettering on it. Didn't bother to stop and see what was going on.

Today I drove by that building, and saw the parking lot full of those same boxes. Anyone have any insight on what's going on over there?

They were pushing flappers not too long ago, so maybe that's what's in the box? I replaced the internals on all three of my toilets over the past year and every one of them had a crack in the main pipe that holds the flushing valve head. It's pretty easy to do once you figure out how to read the crappy directions..

I don't know, but thanks for posting this because I went googling for an answer and came up with this for me. They will give us 2 free toilets! That's pretty nice of them--seriously, we were just talking about needing to replace ours.

Default Toilets!!!!

I happened to stop in to see what the fuss was about last year. It was FREE TOILETS !! Then I found out that I was not eligible because my house was built after 1992. Oh well.

Next toilet I get is going to be one of the fancy ones with the air tank inside. We had those in San Diego and they are SO much better than the generic ones we have now.

Can you tell me how they work - is there electricity involved? I used one of those in a hotel in Hawaii once and thought it was quite awesome. I just wonder if it is a plug and play type deal, or do you have to have some special installation involved.

Interesting choice of words there, rd2007.

The bottom of this has a description of it and there is no electricity involved. I think I'd be scared to sit on a "live" toilet
Toilet (http://www.sahra.arizona.edu/programs/water_cons/home/bathroom_toilet.htm - broken link)

They can't be too hard to install because they did the entire neighborhood (it was a military housing unit) in a short period of time.

rd2007,

First you try to create a flap by talking about flappers...then you try to feed us a lot of crap about crappers...boy, your posts in this thread are quickly going down the toilet!
